I'm starting this blog to share my outdoor experiences and to find folks like me who enjoy spending time outdoors in the Natural State with their family and friends. I was fishing with my son Parker on the White River when he was five. He had his little zebco I was using a bait caster. When I got a bite I would quietly set the hook and ask him "to use my rod for this cast". He of course loved catching all those fish. Eventually he said,"Daddy I think I should just use your rod all the time. I can catch more fish with it.". Aka...Do it again Daddy!
